Join us for our First Annual Halloween Spook-Tacular in Downtown Ste. Genevieve!
What is the Halloween Spook-Tacular??

This is a FREE trick-or-treating event in Downtown Ste. Genevieve open to all ages.
First come, first serve, there will be 300 bags and maps available for this free event.
You MUST have an official event bag and a map in order to receive candy from a participating business.
The trick-or-treating event will run from 2-5 p.m. only.
Check-in will be at: Iggy’s Pop Shop at 233 Merchant Street.
(You may begin checking in at 1:30 p.m. to receive your bag and map.)
**This event is not weather dependent and will happen rain or shine. There will not be a rain date or make-up date for the Halloween Spook-Tacular event.**

The Ste Genevieve County Library will be set-up inside Iggy’s Pop Shop hosting a character story time on-the-hour every hour during the spook-tacular! They will be reading ‘If You Give A Mouse A Cookie’ by Laura Numeroff, there will be guest appearances by the mouse himself, giveaways for the first 100 children, and other activities associated with the storybook. Be sure to stop in and check it out!
The The Centre for French Colonial Life & the Bolduc House (located at 198 Market Street) is hosting their annual Night of the Werewolf event from 6-8 p.m. for $6/person on the same day as the Spook-tacular!
Activities for this event include:
-Lantern-led tours of the Bolduc House
-Werewolf folklore & stories around the campfire
-Werewolf hunting with the Ste. Genevieve Militia
-S’mores and Apple Cider
-Apple Bobbing
-Scavenger Hunt
-Crafts
and more!!

There are also several businesses and restaurants that will be open before and after the 5 p.m. cut-off time– we encourage you to visit them! You never know when you might discover your new favorite shop!
