About the Band

It all started with a tape recorder in my old hogshed in the Heartland. Then we headed south and recorded in Music City, just a bigger hogshed, but still in the Heartland. Steve Cline picked up a guitar at the age of 14. Within a year he led a popular St. Louis band, complete with a horn section, and over the next decade fronted a diverse mix of rock, folk rock, and blues rock groups. Power country is the very essence of The Steve Cline band.
